Brand Communications Manager

About the role

We are looking for a strategic Brand Communications Manager to shape and amplify Wave’s brand as we drive financial inclusion across Africa. Based in Dakar, you will craft compelling stories, lead brand initiatives and ensure consistent messaging that resonates with our growing user base.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end execution of high‑impact brand and community campaigns aligned with Wave’s mission.
• Develop and evolve brand identity, messaging frameworks and tone of voice across all markets and channels.
• Lead creative development with agencies and internal teams to produce world‑class assets.
• Partner with PR, People and other stakeholders to create internal and external narratives, events and content that reflect Wave’s values.
• Ensure brand consistency and clarity in communication across product, marketing and customer touchpoints.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in brand marketing, communications or a related field.
• Proven track record of delivering brand‑centric campaigns in fast‑growing environments.
• Strong storytelling ability and experience working with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent command of English; work authorization in Senegal.
