About the role

Wave is expanding its footprint across West Africa and needs a seasoned leader to drive user growth and agent network operations. As the Country Growth Operations Lead, you will own the strategy and execution that takes a market from early‑stage to 1 million monthly active users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise distribution strategies to accelerate user acquisition.
• Lead agent network operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and liquidity management.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and country leadership to align growth initiatives with business goals.
• Build and mentor high‑performing teams, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Track and report on business and financial KPIs, ensuring targets are met.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading growth or scaling operations in emerging markets.
• Strong analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to relocate to a West African country and travel extensively (60‑80%).
