Regional Supply Chain Associate (Paternity Cover)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Regional Supply Chain Associate on a paternity‑cover basis. Reporting to the Deputy Regional Director (Management) and the Regional Supply Chain Officer, the associate will support supply chain activities across the region, ensuring the delivery of quality goods and services to beneficiaries at optimal cost and timeliness.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in strategic planning for supply chain activities in collaboration with country offices and headquarters units.
• Support the implementation of the IOM Supply Chain Strategy and related projects, adhering to internal governance frameworks.
• Monitor, assess, and help manage supply chain risks at the regional level, contributing to mitigation measures.
• Provide support and advice for emergency supply chain operations, including rapid deployment of personnel during crises.
• Deliver specialized advisory services and technical guidance to country office supply chain teams and senior management.
• Collect and analyse data related to supply chain operations to inform decision‑making.

Required profile

• Ability to work under the supervision of senior regional managers.
• Open to internal and external candidates, with internal candidates defined according to IOM’s contract categories.
• Strong interest in humanitarian logistics and supply chain coordination.
