Regional Visual Design Officer – Remote (Central & West Africa)

About the role

The Regional Visual Design Officer will support CRS’s Central and West Africa Regional Office by creating high‑quality visual communications that advance program goals. This fully remote position serves multiple countries across the region and works closely with program teams and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce communication and marketing materials such as factsheets, booklets, annual reports, flyers, event collateral, posters, and banners.
• Develop visual content for social platforms (Facebook, X) and the CRS website.
• Transform datasets into clear infographics and data‑visualization products.
• Customize document formats (PowerPoint presentations, strategies, technical reports) to align with CRS branding guidelines.
• Update existing documents and archive photos into multimedia products while maintaining brand consistency.
• Manage production schedules and cost estimates under the direction of the Deputy Regional Director and Regional Communications Officer.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in design, layout, and data visualization.
• Proficiency in English and French (both written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Experience or understanding of the humanitarian and development sectors.

Required skills

• Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Print, web, and social‑media design expertise.
• Data‑visualization and infographic creation.
• Basic video‑editing skills (preferred).
• Advanced document design experience (preferred).
