Partnerships Specialist

About the role

The Partnerships Specialist will support the Muskoka Multi‑Partner Trust Fund (MPTF) within UNICEF’s West and Central Africa Region. Reporting to the Regional Public Partnerships Adviser, the role focuses on deepening collaboration with donors and partners to sustain and expand the achievements of the Muskoka Funds Initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with existing and potential donors across West and Central Africa.
• Conduct environmental scanning and knowledge exchange to identify resource‑mobilisation opportunities.
• Support the coordination of the high‑level Steering Committee and the technical committee of the MPTF.
• Provide policy influence and advocacy to align partner contributions with programme objectives.
• Serve as focal point for thematic areas, offering guidance to colleagues on partnership‑related matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience in partnership development, donor relations or resource mobilisation.
• Familiarity with multi‑agency programmes and the development sector in West and Central Africa.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to work in a collaborative, multicultural environment.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
