FAST Regional Manager – West Africa

About the role

The FAST Regional Manager will lead VisionFund’s FAST program across West Africa, guiding micro‑finance institutions (MFIs) in the pilot, rollout and scaling of the FAST loan product. Working closely with local FAST product managers, the role ensures high‑quality implementation, capacity building and alignment with VisionFund’s 2030 strategy to reach millions of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support MFIs in Senegal, Ghana, Mali and Rwanda with capacity building, product pilot development and rollout.
• Monitor implementation progress and contribute to multi‑year planning for the FAST program.
• Lead performance management of local FAST managers and provide guidance on training material improvement.
• Assist the FAST Business Development Manager in West African markets, expanding the pipeline of savings groups and partnership networks.
• Coordinate with World Vision, NGOs and other stakeholders to raise awareness of FAST and secure new partnerships.
• Facilitate linking of savings groups to VisionFund services and oversee partnership development beyond the VisionFund network.

Required profile

• Proven experience in micro‑finance or financial inclusion programs, preferably at a regional level.
• Strong understanding of savings groups, Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) and related financial products.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse MFIs, NGOs and government partners across West Africa.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills to monitor program performance.
