Internal Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented Internal Auditor to ensure our operations meet the highest standards of compliance, efficiency, and risk management. You will lead audit missions, provide insights to strengthen internal controls, and foster a culture of accountability as we scale rapidly.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive internal audit plan aligned with company objectives and risks.
• Conduct audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes to identify control weaknesses.
• Investigate suspected fraud or misconduct, prepare reports, and coordinate with legal authorities as needed.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans for management.
• Stay updated on WAEMU regulations, support regulatory audits, and ensure company compliance.
• Recommend process improvements and promote a culture of internal control awareness.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, internal audit, or related fields within a bank or financial institution.
• Secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Business & Economics, or a comparable field.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Proven experience working with an international company or in an international context.
