Regional Ethics and Integrity Officer (Expedited)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) seeks a Regional Ethics and Integrity Officer to serve as the focal point for ethical issues across a designated region. This expedited recruitment is open to internal and internal‑equivalent candidates and supports IOM’s commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate ethics‑related matters for the Regional Office and Country Missions, ensuring consistent application of IOM ethics standards.
• Provide technical guidance on the Standards of Conduct, conflicts of interest, reporting channels, and protection against retaliation.
• Analyse ethics trends, risks and concerns within the region and advise management on appropriate actions.
• Facilitate communication between the regional office, headquarters and other relevant units to promote a speak‑up culture.
• Support the annual conflict‑of‑interest disclosure programme and related training initiatives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in ethics, compliance or integrity functions within an international or multilateral organization.
• Strong understanding of standards of conduct, conflict‑of‑interest management and whistle‑blowing mechanisms.
• Excellent analytical, advisory and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across diverse cultural and institutional contexts.
