Operations Manager – O&M Site

About the role

Wärtsilä is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead contract delivery and customer relationship management at its O&M site in Kahone, Senegal. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient, profitable, and high‑quality service delivery while supporting the company’s mission of enabling sustainable societies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage contracts and oversee all operational and commercial aspects of contract delivery.
• Implement contract‑management processes, tools, and guidelines to ensure effective execution.
• Monitor contract performance, including customer satisfaction, service quality, timeliness, and profitability, and generate performance reports.
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
• Support contract negotiations and revisions, balancing organizational and customer interests.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for additional sales.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in power‑plant operations.
• Hands‑on experience with Wärtsilä 46 engines.
• Strong financial understanding and experience in customer relations.
• Fluent in English and French.
