Project Coordinator – Digital Learning Partnership (6 months)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a qualified consultant to coordinate the Airtel Africa digital learning partnership for its West and Central Africa Regional Office (WCARO). The 6‑month consultancy, based in Dakar, will support the implementation of connectivity and learning initiatives across six partner countries.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day coordination between UNICEF regional and country offices and Airtel Africa teams.
• Track implementation progress in all six partner countries, ensuring alignment with partnership goals and timelines.
• Facilitate joint work‑planning sessions, co‑creation workshops and technical meetings.
• Coordinate with UNICEF’s Giga and Learning Passport teams to align connectivity and digital learning components.
• Draft a white paper on expanding the partnership to out‑of‑school children for phase 2.
• Maintain and update the Airtel monthly KPI reporting document and dashboard.
• Consolidate quarterly reports and contribute to monitoring, evaluation and reporting activities.

Required profile

• Consultant with proven experience in coordinating multi‑country ICT or education projects.
• Strong understanding of digital learning initiatives and telecom partnerships.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
