Project Coordinator – Digital Learning Partnership (6‑month consultancy)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a qualified consultant to coordinate the Airtel Africa digital learning partnership across six West and Central African countries. The role is based in Dakar and will run for six months, supporting the implementation of connectivity and learning initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day coordination between UNICEF regional and country offices and Airtel Africa teams.
• Track implementation progress across all six partner countries, ensuring alignment with partnership goals and timelines.
• Facilitate joint work‑planning sessions, co‑creation workshops and technical meetings.
• Coordinate with UNICEF’s Giga and Learning Passport teams to align connectivity and digital learning components.
• Draft a white paper on expanding the partnership to out‑of‑school children in Phase 2.
• Update and maintain the Airtel monthly KPI reporting document and dashboard.
• Consolidate quarterly reports and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Consultant with proven experience in coordinating multi‑country projects, preferably in digital education or telecom sectors.
• Strong understanding of digital learning platforms and connectivity initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
