Deputy Regional Advisor, Supply Chain – Central and West Africa

About the role

The Deputy Regional Advisor, Supply Chain supports the design, implementation and continuous improvement of agile, compliant and efficient supply chain systems across Central and West Africa. Working closely with country teams and the Global Supply Chain Management unit, the role ensures that procurement, logistics, warehousing and fleet operations align with CRS’s strategic objectives and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic input to regional SCM policies, standards and tools, and represent CRS in regional planning forums.
• Collaborate with country operations to develop and execute annual procurement plans, tender documents and fleet management systems.
• Support deployment and effective use of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) for planning, execution and reporting.
• Review RFPs, bid packages and contracts to ensure quality, compliance and alignment with climate‑action principles.
• Promote supply chain performance metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement and accountability.
• Build relationships with donors, peer organisations and government partners.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in humanitarian or development supply chain management.
• Demonstrated ability to work across multiple countries, travel regularly and engage diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a commitment to stewardship, integrity and transparency.
