Native Language Annotator & Transcriber – Pulaar

About the role

We are looking for native Pulaar speakers to join our remote team as language annotators and transcribers. You will work on audio files, creating accurate transcripts and enriching them with detailed linguistic annotations to support large‑scale language data projects.

Key responsibilities

• Independently transcribe Pulaar audio recordings, capturing dialectal nuances and contextual meaning.
• Compare and validate parallel transcripts to produce a final ground‑truth version.
• Perform entity tagging according to detailed client guidelines.
• Conduct speaker diarization, identifying and labeling different speakers within recordings.
• Complete internal quality reviews before final QA submission.

Required profile

• Native fluency in Pulaar (Fula/Fulani), both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to follow structured linguistic and annotation guidelines.
• Comfortable using online transcription and annotation tools.
• Capability to maintain consistent quality across multiple work batches.
