Production Planner

About the role

The Production Planner will coordinate demand management, production capacity, and inventory to ensure an optimal flow of manufacturing activities. Working closely with sales, plant teams and business analysts, the role supports strategic decision‑making and maintains accurate planning data.

Key responsibilities

• Review production scenarios with the Planning team to meet order‑book targets.
• Act as liaison between Sales and Plant Production to align forecasts with machine capacity.
• Maintain data integrity and produce weekly/monthly S&OP reports.
• Analyse production plans using available data environments and present findings.
• Develop deep knowledge of division’s machine planning processes for continuity.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives with the business analyst team.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations & Logistics Engineering or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of experience in production planning or supply‑chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with planning software such as Greycon, TrimPlus, PlanPlus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
