Supply Chain Associate

About the role

The International Organization for Migration is seeking a Supply Chain Associate to support procurement and logistics activities in its regional office. Working under the Deputy Regional Director (Management) and the Regional Supply Chain Officer, the associate will help ensure that goods and services are delivered to beneficiaries efficiently, cost‑effectively, and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and consolidate procurement requisition forms in line with the Purchase Authorization Matrix.
• Prepare tender documents, solicit bids, conduct bid analysis, and support evaluation processes.
• Confirm terms with selected suppliers, issue purchase orders or contracts, and obtain necessary authorisations.
• Monitor open requisitions, track delivery status, and coordinate receipt of goods with the receiving unit.
• Review vendor invoices, prepare payment requests, and liaise with Finance for timely payments.
• Maintain physical and electronic procurement records and generate periodic reports.
• Conduct market surveys, identify new suppliers, and participate in supplier evaluations.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established procurement procedures and documentation standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify completeness of requisitions.
• Good organisational skills to track multiple procurement cycles simultaneously.
