Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Warehouse Supervisor to manage store‑keeping, inventory control and logistics at our power‑plant site in Kaolack, Senegal. The role ensures spare parts, tools and materials are available when needed while maintaining accurate records and supporting maintenance schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and record incoming goods, checking for damage and discrepancies.
• Sort, label and store items efficiently to optimise warehouse space.
• Pack, label and dispatch outgoing shipments with the required documentation.
• Maintain inventory data in SAP and Maximo in close coordination with maintenance planners.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile differences.
• Manage calibrated tools inventory and ensure certifications are up‑to‑date.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in compliance with EHS guidelines.
• Keep the warehouse area clean and organised following 5S principles.
• Support stock‑taking audits and handle dangerous goods according to MSDS.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in store‑keeping, warehouse operations or inventory management within a power‑plant, industrial or heavy‑industry environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems, ERP platforms or warehouse‑management tools.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
• Proficiency in Maximo.
• Forklift operation (licensed).
• Use of inventory management systems and ERP platforms.
