Administration, Financial & Control Manager

About the role

The Administration, Financial & Control Manager will lead the administrative and financial functions of a large‑scale project in Dakar, ensuring compliance with local laws and corporate policies while supporting the Project Manager and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all administrative, accounting and financial activities of the project, including budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow and working‑capital management.
• Ensure compliance with Senegalese tax, customs and corporate regulations, prepare tax returns and monitor withholding tax, VAT and corporate income tax.
• Maintain relationships with local banks, tax authorities, clients, subcontractors and suppliers, and oversee accounts receivable, payable and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial and management reports for the Head Office and support internal and external audits.
• Protect project assets such as vehicles, equipment and warehouses and collaborate with other functions on cross‑functional activities.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• At least 10 years of senior administration and financial management experience, preferably in international construction, infrastructure or Oil & Gas projects.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry and proven work on international projects in Africa.
• Fluent French and native Italian, with good English knowledge.
• Immediate availability or short‑notice start.

Required skills

• Strong command of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting/financial systems in a multicurrency environment.

What we offer

• Indicative gross annual salary €50,000 – €65,000, depending on experience.
