Analyst, Malaria & Health Systems Strengthening

About the role

CHAI is seeking a resourceful Analyst to help build its malaria program in Senegal. Reporting to the Associate and Country Director, you will support partnership development with the National Malaria Control Program and identify high‑impact opportunities for technical and financial support.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with the Malaria Program and other Ministry of Health directorates.
• Map donor and partner landscapes, analyse programmatic and epidemiological data, and contribute to concept notes and proposals.
• Support the development of CHAI Senegal’s malaria strategy in coordination with regional and global teams.
• Provide occasional assistance to Health Systems Strengthening initiatives, especially digital tools for mass malaria campaigns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree minimum; Master’s in public health, social sciences, economics or related field is an asset.
• 2‑3 years of relevant experience in public health, international development, consulting or resource mobilization.
• Experience engaging government counterparts and drafting donor proposals.
• Fluency in written and spoken French and professional level English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, synthesis and written communication abilities.
