Automotive Mobile Diagnostic Technician

About the role

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking a Mobile Diagnostic Technician to deliver top‑tier diagnostic support to customers on‑site. You will use Autel scanning equipment to troubleshoot vehicle technology issues and provide clear, friendly assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to assist customers with vehicle diagnostics.
• Answer inbound and outbound calls related to the Autel scanning unit.
• Respond to technical questions about scanning procedures and resolve issues.
• Conduct research to understand, explain, and fix technology problems on vehicles.
• Perform general mobile service duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a diagnostic technician.
• I‑CAR and ASE certifications preferred.
• Willingness to obtain and use the proper tools for the job.
• Ability to pass background checks and pre‑employment screenings.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Physical ability to lift >50 lb, kneel, bend, and reach above and below shoulder level.
• Strong reading comprehension for work orders and estimates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without restrictions.
