About the role

The EBRD office in Dakar is seeking a professional Chauffeur to provide safe and punctual transportation for staff, senior management, and visitors across Senegal and neighboring countries. The role also includes occasional support for clerical tasks and vehicle maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Transport EBRD staff, senior managers, and bank visitors to and from the office, client sites, and regional destinations.
• Maintain the office vehicle(s) in good mechanical condition and ensure the garage and driver area remain clean and orderly.
• Deliver documents and packages securely and on time.
• Observe local road safety codes and EBRD driving standards at all times.
• Complete weekly travel logs and maintain the satellite phone according to health‑and‑safety requirements.
• Assist with minor vehicle maintenance and, when needed, support office clerical tasks such as purchasing supplies.

Required profile

• Secondary school education.
• Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Strict compliance with safety procedures and defensive driving practices.
• Experience working in an international environment is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Defensive driving training (provided if needed).
• Advanced driver training or certification.
• Operation of a satellite phone for emergency communication.
