Digital Services Operations Support Officer (Band 4)

About the role

The Digital Services Operations Support Officer will join the Trustwide ICT team to provide day‑to‑day operational support for digital services across the organisation. This permanent Band 4 position is based in the IT Department at the UH site in Armagh and offers a competitive salary within the NHS pay scale.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical assistance for hardware, software and network issues.
• Monitor and maintain ICT service performance and incident logs.
• Assist with the rollout and configuration of digital applications and devices.
• Collaborate with senior ICT staff to resolve complex problems and implement improvements.
• Support flexible working arrangements and contribute to part‑time waiting‑list processes when required.

Required profile

• Relevant ICT qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with staff and external suppliers.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality service and adhering to NHS standards.

Required skills

• Basic troubleshooting of Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with common office software suites.
• Understanding of network fundamentals and connectivity.
