Directeur/Directrice de l'Exploitation (COO) – BTP West Africa

About the role

The family-owned construction group, operating in West Africa for over 30 years, is looking for a Chief Operating Officer to strengthen its executive team and support regional expansion across Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Guinea and Mali. This senior position will oversee all operational activities and ensure the successful delivery of large‑scale civil engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution and monitoring of national infrastructure and civil works projects.
• Coordinate and supervise the Technical, Studies, Works, Equipment and Commercial departments.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the group’s growth objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards across all sites.
• Report directly to the General Management on performance, risks and opportunities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in managing civil engineering or large construction sites in Africa.
• Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of the West African construction market and regulatory environment.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to drive operational excellence.
