HR Administrative Assistant (Fixed-term)

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized HR Administrative Assistant to support our growing team in Dakar. You will ensure that all HR documentation is accurate, compliant, and processed in a timely manner while providing a reliable point of contact for employee queries.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and circulate HR documents such as employment contracts, amendments, promotions, and work certificates.
• Support pre‑onboarding by communicating with selected candidates, collecting required paperwork, and confirming readiness for start dates.
• Maintain up‑to‑date physical and digital employee records.
• Provide payroll with accurate employee data on leaves, sick days, suspensions, and resignations.
• Liaise with external partners, including the Social Security Administration, for maternity, work accidents, and other statutory matters.
• Stay informed on HR laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
• Assist in drafting and updating HR policies, handbooks, and procedures.
• Answer employee questions on HR policies and procedures.
• Participate in HR projects as required.

Required profile

• Work authorization for Senegal.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills in English (and French if possible).

Required skills

• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing HR documents.
• Familiarity with payroll data handling.
• Understanding of Senegalese labor law and social security regulations.
