Information Security and Systems Lead (Associate Director)

About the role

IDinsight is seeking an Information Security and Systems Lead to head its security and enterprise systems function across a remote‑first, globally distributed organization. You will manage a small team, external partners, and advise senior leadership on technical strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own multi‑year enterprise systems strategy, including selection and implementation of CRMs, ERPs, and master data models.
• Lead information security program: strategy, control framework, governance, incident response, and compliance with GDPR and regional data protection laws.
• Manage external implementation partners, budgets, and change‑management initiatives to drive adoption.
• Oversee AI governance, data protection policies, and cross‑functional leadership initiatives.

Required profile

• 8+ years in technology roles with at least 5 years leading information security or enterprise IT, including people management.
• Proven ownership of organization‑wide security programs and major enterprise system implementations.
• Strong stakeholder management with funders, government partners, and vendors.

Required skills

• Enterprise security controls: endpoint protection, network security, vulnerability management.
• Identity and access management (SSO, MFA, LDAP, SAML).
• Cloud security architecture and configuration.
• Enterprise systems implementation (ERP, CRM) and data modelling.
• Compliance frameworks: GDPR, NIST CSF, NIST SP 800‑171, ISO/IEC 27001.
• Security certifications (CISM, CISSP, CISA) preferred.
