IT Assistant – Product Adoption & Support

About the role

The IT Assistant – Product Adoption & Support will help prepare, roll out and sustain corporate IT solutions across WFP country offices. Reporting to the Head of Global Beneficiary Services, the role focuses on user readiness, incident support and effective communication between field offices and HQ.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver service requests, perform basic troubleshooting and escalate complex incidents.
• Train local support teams according to standard operating procedures.
• Assist country offices in understanding and adopting tools such as SCOPE, SugarCRM, NEST, CIAM, School Connect, Partner Connect, CODA and PIT.
• Provide logistical and technical support during pilot deployments, collect feedback and identify issues.
• Contribute to training sessions and awareness activities to familiarize users with new solutions.
• Travel on local and international missions as required and share lessons learned with the wider team.

Required profile

• Secondary school completion; university degree in IT or related field is desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support, software adoption or digital tools implementation.
• Strong customer‑service orientation, clear communication in French and English; additional UN language knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to deliver simple user guidance or basic training to individuals or small groups.
