Key Account Manager – E‑commerce

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Key Account Manager to join Jumia’s fast‑growing e‑commerce team. You will be the primary point of contact for our most important clients, driving satisfaction and growth across the African market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with key accounts.
• Identify client needs and propose tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement account strategies.
• Monitor account performance, delivering regular updates and reports.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximise profit and client satisfaction.
• Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities for additional products and services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar sales role.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
• Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
