Learning and Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a strategic, people‑focused Learning and Development Manager to lead our remote employee growth initiatives. In this fully remote position you will design, deliver and evaluate training programmes that close skill gaps and foster a culture of continuous learning across our global workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with C‑level leaders and department heads to identify organisational and individual skill gaps and align L&D initiatives with business goals.
• Design engaging training curricula, including e‑learning modules, virtual workshops and micro‑learning content for a distributed workforce.
• Lead and continuously improve the remote onboarding experience to ensure new hires feel welcomed and equipped from day one.
• Oversee the Learning Management System, managing digital learning infrastructure, course accessibility and tracking.
• Plan, monitor and optimise the annual L&D budget and negotiate contracts with external training vendors.
• Analyse metrics, conduct skills audits and measure ROI of training programmes, using learner feedback to refine offerings.
• Collaborate with managers and HR to develop leadership training and career‑pathing frameworks that support talent retention.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Education or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, with at least 2 years in a remote or distributed environment.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning theories, blended learning strategies and instructional design principles.
• Excellent written, verbal and virtual presentation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems such as Docebo, Canvas or Absorb.
• Experience using e‑learning authoring tools like Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
