Marketing Associate

About the role

The Marketing Associate will be Cauridor’s on‑the‑ground marketing reference point in Senegal, turning regional strategy into local execution. You will adapt campaigns to the Senegalese market, run events, and ensure brand consistency while providing market intelligence back to the region.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the regional marketing plan locally, adapting language, culture and market conditions.
• Provide market intelligence and competitor observations to inform regional strategy.
• Track and report local marketing spend against the allocated budget.
• Maintain brand consistency across all Senegal‑market materials and coordinate content localization.
• Support social media content creation, community engagement and monitor digital performance.
• Plan and run local events, activations, sponsorships and partnership marketing.
• Act as the marketing liaison for the Senegal country team, collaborating with Sales, Operations and Compliance.
• Escalate legal, compliance or brand‑risk issues to the Regional Marketing Manager.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in marketing, communications or related field, preferably with event/field marketing.
• Strong understanding of the Senegalese market, media landscape and culture.
• Ability to execute a centrally set strategy while exercising good judgment on local adaptations.
• Hands‑on experience creating content and managing social media.
• Experience working with local agencies and vendors.
• Fluent French; working proficiency in English preferred.
