Operations & Maintenance Technician (Kolda)

About the role

Renvolt continues to expand its presence in Senegal and is looking for a skilled Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Technician to be based near its Kolda site. The role provides fast on‑site and remote support, ensuring rapid fault recovery and efficient plant operation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide fast on‑site and remote troubleshooting and implement fault recovery solutions to restore production.
• Carry out specialized technical maintenance activities on photovoltaic power plants.
• Participate in integrated commissioning and start‑up activities and on‑site technical assessments.
• Prepare technical reports and evidence to support claiming processes.
• Deliver training workshops and contribute to the development of maintenance management processes and documentation.
• Recommend and study more effective maintenance practices, tools, and reliability studies.

Required profile

• Experience in commissioning and maintenance of photovoltaic power plants.
• Knowledge of electronics, automation fault detection, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with SCADA, remote control, data acquisition and communications systems (preferred).
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office and reporting software.
• Valid Senegal driver’s licence and ability to obtain a medical fitness certificate.
