People Partner – Support

About the role

Wave is building the first cashless continent in Africa. As a People Partner – Support you will work with the call‑center team in Senegal to deliver HR solutions that enable the Support department to meet its objectives and foster an engaged, high‑performing workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Support department to design and implement an HR strategy aligned with team OKRs.
• Identify talent gaps, reassign resources, and support change‑management initiatives.
• Drive performance‑management processes, including regular feedback, 1:1 meetings, coaching, career‑growth conversations, OKR tracking, evaluations and performance‑improvement plans.
• Conduct audits of employee sick‑time records and ensure compliance with HR policies.
• Manage employee tenure updates for Benefit and Health Review, keeping records current in HR systems.
• Process work‑accommodation requests and coordinate with medical professionals to arrange appropriate adjustments.
• Prepare and deliver explanation letters for employees as needed.
• Monitor adherence to HR policies and report on compliance.

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a focus on improving organisational effectiveness.
• Ability to manage multiple HR processes simultaneously and maintain accurate documentation.
