Premium Cash Assistant

About the role

Wave is building financial services that work for everyone in Africa. As a Premium Cash Assistant you will be the first point of contact for customers and agents at our Premium Agency, ensuring smooth cash operations and excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Help nearby agents with liquidity needs, including deposits and withdrawals.
• Support agents and clients on Wave’s products, account opening, app usage, and physical cards.
• Maintain daily reconciliation of premium points and record all cash transactions in the treasury system.
• Request sufficient funds promptly to rebalance with agents and clients.
• Report discrepancies or challenges to the Premium Cash Officer and notify leadership of counterfeit bills.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in cash management, reconciliation, liquidity management, or cash handling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in French.
• Previous front‑office customer service or banking experience.
• High vigilance, attention to detail, and strong integrity.
• Familiarity with Wave products is a plus.
