Project Manager – North Africa (Engineering & Automation)

About the role

Diamond Key International is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead engineering and terminal automation projects across North Africa. Working remotely from Senegal or Tunisia, you will act as the main liaison between customers and global project teams, ensuring safe, on‑time and quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end project execution from award through commissioning and handover.
• Serve as the primary customer focal point throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks and commercial performance.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, subcontractors and site activities across multiple countries.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Provide accurate forecasting, reporting and governance to senior management.
• Mentor project teams and promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years managing engineering, industrial automation or Oil & Gas projects.
• Proven experience with EPC, systems integration or automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and margins.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Experience working across Africa or in multinational environments.
• Senegalese or Tunisian citizenship and willingness to travel within the region.
