Reconfirmation Team Supervisor - Bilingual French & English

About the role

A growing international travel company is looking for an experienced bilingual English and French Team Supervisor in Dakar to lead its team and ensure ground travel services are properly coordinated before travellers depart. It is a hands-on leadership role combining people management, operational coordination, performance reporting and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Reconfirmation Agents.
• Monitor team performance, KPIs, deadlines and reconfirmation rates.
• Prepare performance reports, identify bottlenecks and drive improvements.
• Ensure ground services such as transfers, hotels and activities are reconfirmed before departure.
• Handle complex cases and operational escalations when needed.
• Work with the tech team to improve tools, processes and workflows.
• Contribute to performance reviews, team objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and French.
• 5+ years of experience in the travel industry.
• Proven experience in people management or team supervision.
• Strong organizational, analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on, proactive leader with strong communication skills.
