Regional Finance Manager – Global (Based in Dakar)

About the role

The Regional Finance Manager will be based in Dakar, Senegal, and will lead the financial management of IMPACT‑Initiatives’ programmes across Central and West Africa. The position starts on 15 July 2026, is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, and requires regular travel to 13 countries in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure high‑quality, accurate financial reporting and compliance with IMPACT and donor regulations.
• Provide financial oversight to country finance teams and act as the principal finance business partner to senior management.
• Line‑manage pooled Country Finance Officers, assign tasks, review outputs and guarantee timely delivery.
• Support the development of strategic and operational plans for country and regional programmes.
• Maintain alignment with local laws, donor requirements, and host‑agency (ACTED) financial processes.
• Report directly to the HQ Finance manager and coordinate with Multi‑Country Representatives and Country Representatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing finance operations for multi‑country programmes.
• Strong knowledge of donor compliance, financial reporting standards and local fiscal regulations.
• Ability to lead and mentor finance officers across diverse locations.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout Central and West Africa.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills for interaction with senior management and external partners.
