Regional Projects and Partnerships Support Manager

About the role

The Regional Projects and Partnerships Support Manager will oversee project development and grant management for IMPACT Initiatives’ missions across West and Central Africa, based in Dakar with regular travel to the covered countries.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Multi‑Country Representative and Country Representatives in analysing socio‑economic contexts, donor trends and emerging needs.
• Contribute to the development of country and regional programme strategies aligned with IMPACT’s global roadmap.
• Identify and track regional and country‑specific funding opportunities, engage with donors and maintain a funding tracker.
• Map potential partners (NGOs, academia, private sector) and foster cooperation with IMPACT’s sister organisation Acted and other hosting partners.
• Maintain regular relationships with donors, NGOs, UN agencies and coordinate IMPACT’s representation in regional forums.
• Oversee proposal development, including problem statements, logframes and fundraising documents, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
• Manage the workflow of the regional PPS team, delegate tasks, and address workload gaps in collaboration with senior staff.
• Provide HQ‑delegated tasks such as validation, training and technical back‑stopping for the PPS department.

Required profile

• Experience in humanitarian project development, grant management and partnership building across multiple countries.
• Strong analytical skills to assess regional contexts, donor landscapes and emerging humanitarian trends.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with senior managers, country teams and external partners.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout West and Central Africa.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
