Regional Sales Manager – West Africa (In‑Vitro Diagnostics)

About the role

The Regional Sales Manager for West Africa will lead HemoCue’s distributor network, build relationships with turnkey and pharmaceutical partners, and drive business growth across the region. Based in Senegal, you will report to the Director EMEA Sales and be part of the global sales organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies based on competitive intelligence and market insights.
• Manage, coach and develop distributor networks to increase revenue and market coverage.
• Expand channel coverage across hospitals, blood banks and public‑health programmes.
• Analyse market dynamics and competitor activity to improve market share and pricing effectiveness.
• Drive forecasting, reporting and pipeline management to support growth objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences or equivalent.
• Multiple years of experience managing distributors and channel routes in healthcare or diagnostics.
• Key‑account management experience within medical‑device or diagnostic product portfolios.
• Experience working in African healthcare markets, preferably West Africa.
• Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time across the region.
• Valid driver’s licence with an acceptable driving record.
