Senior Relationship Manager

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager will act as a strategic advisor to corporate and institutional clients, helping them raise capital, develop investment strategies, and access a broad suite of banking products. Working closely with the Institutional Banking team, the role blends client relationship management with capital‑markets expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Expand a portfolio of complex accounts, driving revenue growth while maintaining credit quality in line with Citi’s standards.
• Identify client needs and recommend solutions such as financing, cash‑management, foreign‑currency, trade finance, structured trade, FX, commodities, fixed income, syndicated and bilateral loans, and capital‑market products.
• Manage all credit aspects of relationships, including annual reviews, early problem recognition, and remedial actions.
• Assess risk for business decisions, ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies, and report control issues transparently.
• Participate in strategic planning and lead origination efforts for large corporate, public‑sector, and institutional clients.
• Lead teams and drive business growth in a challenging macro environment.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in corporate/institutional banking or capital markets.
• Strong knowledge of credit analytics, financial modelling, risk assessment, and valuation.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
