Associate Presales Engineer

About the role

The Associate Presales supports the Sales team with technical coordination, material preparation and relationship management for effective pre-sales operations. The role covers technical support for customers and partners, including after-hours queries during assigned rotations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Sales team by coordinating the technical aspects of pre-sales activities
• Help respond to customer requests by understanding their requirements and tailoring proposals
• Support the Presales Engineer in creating demos, proposal documents and presentations
• Complete pre-sales documentation quickly and accurately
• Provide support to company partners and customers
• Answer after-hours support queries during assigned rotations and escalate issues when needed

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related technical discipline
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in Presales, Technical Support, IT Infrastructure or System Administration
• Excellent English verbal and written communication, with confidence in delivering technical presentations
• Internship or academic projects related to enterprise infrastructure, cloud, networking, cybersecurity or digital transformation are an advantage

Required skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to understand customer business and technical needs
• Basic knowledge of vendors such as IBM, Citrix, VMware, Microsoft, Red Hat, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco or Fortinet is an advantage
• Certifications such as AZ-900, AWS Cloud Practitioner, CCNA, VMware VCTA, Fortinet NSE or similar are a plus
