Community Liaison Manager – Senegal (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Community Liaison Manager will ensure that the voices, needs and priorities of conflict‑affected communities are integrated into MAG’s mine‑action activities in Senegal. Based in the programme area, you will lead community liaison teams, strengthen participation, and oversee the delivery of Explosive Ordnance Risk Education through local partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support Community Liaison teams in the field.
• Coordinate with operational teams to gather high‑quality community information.
• Oversee the design and implementation of risk‑education programmes.
• Facilitate strong relationships with local stakeholders, authorities and partners.
• Monitor and report on programme effectiveness and impact.

Required profile

• Significant experience working internationally in humanitarian or development contexts.
• Proven ability to engage and collaborate with communities, local stakeholders and operational partners.
• Strong people‑management and partner‑engagement skills.
• Commitment to improving programme quality and community safety.

What we offer

• Fixed‑term contract for 14 months.
• Total remuneration package of £38,828 per annum (including salary and allowances).
