Country Agreement Manager

About the role

Wärtsilä Energy is seeking a Country Agreement Manager to lead the execution and delivery of contracts for power plant and energy storage projects. You will ensure contractual compliance, drive customer satisfaction, and support the company’s mission to accelerate the transition to 100% renewable energy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead contract execution, ensuring timelines, obligations, and customer satisfaction targets are met.
• Manage and develop contract delivery teams through planning, performance monitoring, coaching, and capability building.
• Allocate resources effectively and prioritize tasks to optimise project delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, providing transparent communication.
• Identify upselling opportunities and create additional value within existing contracts.
• Monitor contract performance, proactively flagging risks and improvement areas.
• Resolve issues promptly in line with Service Level Agreements.
• Promote continuous improvement and best practices in contract management.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role within power plant O&M.
• Strong understanding of contract delivery, power plant operations, and financial/commercial terms.
• Proven ability to lead teams, allocate resources, and meet delivery commitments.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with a customer‑centric mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; Business Management qualification is a plus.
• Fluency in English and French.
