Demonstrator Chef – Live Cooking & Sales Specialist

About the role

UNOX, a market leader in high‑performance professional ovens, is looking for a Demonstrator Chef to join its sales team in Dakar. You will drive business growth across West Africa by delivering live cooking demonstrations, individual cooking experiences, and comprehensive post‑sales training to hospitality customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities in hotels, restaurants, cafés, bakeries and retail.
• Plan and deliver Individual Cooking Experience (ICE) sessions and product demos for prospects and dealer networks.
• Build strong relationships with chefs, operators and kitchen‑equipment partners.
• Support dealers with product presentations, installations, handovers and operator training.
• Provide product and application training covering operation, programming, cleaning and best‑practice use of UNOX equipment.
• Represent UNOX at exhibitions, events, workshops and customer activations.
• Maintain accurate activity, opportunity and customer reports in the company CRM system.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ experience in a similar Application Chef, Sales Demonstrator, Corporate Chef or customer‑facing HoReCa role.
• Professional culinary background with experience in hotels, restaurants, catering, bakery or food‑service operations.
• Confident presenting and cooking in front of customers and groups.
• Commercially minded with the ability to identify opportunities and build long‑term relationships.
• Fluent English; Arabic or another regional language is a plus.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across West Africa.
