Deputy Corporate Services Manager – Finance, HR & Procurement

About the role

The Deputy Corporate Services Manager (Finance, HR and Procurement) leads the embassy’s largest team, overseeing finance, procurement and human resources functions. You will support the Ambassador with financial analysis, manage contracts, and ensure HR compliance across the mission.

Key responsibilities

• Set the embassy’s finance strategy, produce monthly finance reports for the Ambassador and lead forecasting.
• Manage procurement contracts, Government Procurement Card activity and supplier relationships.
• Oversee HR processes including goal setting, appraisals, performance and misconduct handling, and ensure statutory compliance.
• Line‑manage three staff members and deputise for the Corporate Services Manager during leave.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ experience managing teams.
• At least five years’ experience in finance functions with a relevant qualification (Finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar).
• Strong organisational, communication (English & French) and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in diplomatic or multi‑stakeholder environments is desirable.
