Driver Operations Country Manager

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Driver Operations Country Manager to lead and grow our driver marketplace in Senegal. This senior, country‑level position owns end‑to‑end driver supply, performance, and community engagement, working closely with local field teams and headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the driver operations strategy, overseeing supply, activation, retention, pricing, incentives and key marketplace KPIs.
• Analyze performance data, identify problems, develop hypotheses and implement solutions independently.
• Build and manage driver recruitment processes, including sourcing, onboarding, training, and field activation.
• Lead driver acquisition agents, coordinate offline acquisition activities and explore new supply channels.
• Conduct market research, competitor monitoring, driver surveys and interviews to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Maintain communication with driver communities via Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram and other channels.
• Manage relationships with local agencies, suppliers, operational partners, authorities and coordinate cross‑functional initiatives with HQ.

Required profile

• Strong experience in ride‑hailing marketplace operations, preferably in driver operations, acquisition or marketplace management.
• Proven track record of managing driver supply and performance at a country level.
• Deep understanding of the Senegal/Dakar ride‑hailing market; experience at a local ride‑hailing company is a plus.
