About the role

The University Cheikh Anta Diop in Dakar is expanding its Faculty of Science and Technology (FST). Five teacher‑researcher positions are open, covering Energetics, Fluid Mechanics, Materials Physics and Solid Physics. Successful candidates will join a vibrant academic community and contribute to both teaching and research activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in the assigned discipline.
• Supervise student projects, theses and laboratory work.
• Conduct original research and publish findings in reputable journals.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees and university events.

Required profile

• Advanced academic degree (typically a Ph.D.) in the relevant field.
• Strong motivation for teaching and scientific research.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary faculty.

Required skills

• Expertise in Energetics.
• Knowledge of Fluid Mechanics.
• Background in Materials Physics.
• Understanding of Solid Physics.
