FAST Regional Manager

About the role

VisionFund is seeking a FAST Regional Manager to lead the implementation and scaling of the FAST (Finance Accelerating Savings group Transformation) program across West African countries. The role supports micro‑finance institutions (MFIs) in piloting, rolling out, and monitoring the FAST loan product, while enhancing training materials and digital processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support MFIs in implementing FAST in Senegal, Ghana, Mali and Rwanda through capacity building, product pilot development, rollout support, monitoring and multi‑year planning.
• Lead performance management of local FAST managers.
• Assist the FAST Business Development Manager as needed in West African countries.
• Coordinate with World Vision and other NGOs to sensitize stakeholders, increase the pipeline of savings groups, and expand partner networks.
• Work with the FAST Business Development Manager to link partnerships with non‑VisionFund countries.
• Provide advice on improving training material.
• Translate existing training material into French and develop new French‑language training resources.
• Support external engagement such as speaking at events, webinars and conferences to share lessons learned.
• Assist planning and implementation of the THRIVE program in relevant countries.
• Support increased digitisation in MFIs related to digital FAST processes and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting MFIs with capacity building, product rollout and monitoring.
• Experience leading performance management and coordinating multi‑stakeholder initiatives.
• Ability to develop and translate training materials, particularly into French.
• Strong communication skills for external engagement and partnership development.
• Familiarity with digital processes and reporting in a micro‑finance context.
