FAST Regional Manager, West Africa

About the role

VisionFund International is seeking a FAST Regional Manager for the West Africa region. The role will lead the rollout and scaling of the FAST (Finance Accelerating Savings group Transformation) loan product across multiple micro‑finance institutions, ensuring high‑quality implementation and capacity building.

Key responsibilities

• Support and guide VisionFund MFIs during pilot and rollout phases of the FAST product in West African countries.
• Translate existing training and guidance materials and develop new resources tailored to local contexts.
• Oversee the quality, capacity, and implementation of the regional FAST program.
• Collaborate with local FAST product managers and provide strategic input on operational plans, product pilots, and results analysis.
• Travel to remote and high‑risk areas to monitor progress, conduct training, and engage with partners.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of professional experience in international development, preferably with savings groups, livelihoods, micro‑finance, or digital finance.
• Strong knowledge of savings‑group methodology and experience working with vulnerable populations.
• Proven ability to engage and influence external and internal leaders, build partnerships, and introduce new products or services.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to remote and high‑risk locations.
