Ground Operations & Program Delivery Manager – Senegal & Gambia

About the role

This is a hands‑on, senior‑level position responsible for delivering inbound travel programmes and on‑the‑ground operations across Senegal and The Gambia. You will act as the primary on‑site representative, ensuring seamless logistics, high‑quality client experiences, and successful execution of group tours, VIP itineraries, and festival‑based events.

Key responsibilities

• Design, cost, and operate multi‑day group tours, private/VIP programmes and festival departures in Senegal and Gambia.
• Manage end‑to‑end inbound leisure groups: airport meet‑and‑greet, transfers, hotel coordination, excursions, restaurant and event reservations, and on‑ground issue resolution.
• Plan and deliver event‑based group programmes, including music festivals and cultural experiences.
• Contract, schedule and supervise freelance guides, drivers and operational staff; oversee Dakar‑based vehicle scheduling, maintenance and utilisation.
• Negotiate and manage partnerships with hotels, transport providers, restaurants, venues and destination partners; monitor supplier performance and onboard new partners.
• Prepare customised proposals for group travel, incentive programmes and special requests in collaboration with the US headquarters.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and client meetings; monitor tourism trends and contribute to new product development.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience in inbound tour operations, destination management, group travel or event/meetings operations.
• Proven hands‑on experience delivering ground operations for inbound groups.
• Strong network within Senegal’s tourism ecosystem and experience managing guides, drivers and field teams.
