Head of Sales – France

About the role

AnyVan is looking for a dynamic Head of Sales to own and accelerate growth across the French market. This is a hands‑on, player‑coach position that combines strategic leadership with day‑to‑day involvement on the sales floor.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a high‑performing, commercially disciplined sales organisation that delivers sustainable revenue growth and strong conversion rates.
• Own end‑to‑end sales performance, including revenue targets, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline management.
• Define roles, expectations and ownership across agents, team leaders and managers while establishing scalable structures and processes.
• Provide real‑time coaching through live calls, floor‑side feedback and structured sessions to raise the capability of the team.
• Set clear KPIs, lead forecasting and pipeline reviews, and use data to diagnose issues and make rapid commercial decisions.
• Stay visible on the sales floor, jump into deals, unblock problems and support the team in real time.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Service and Transport to improve customer outcomes and refine sales tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading sales teams in a fast‑growing, technology‑enabled logistics or transport environment.
• Hands‑on, player‑coach mindset with a willingness to work directly on the sales floor.
• Strong accountability for revenue results and a data‑driven approach to performance management.
• Excellent coaching and leadership skills, able to develop agents, team leaders and managers.
• Ability to partner across functions to align commercial strategy with broader business goals.
