Internal Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Internal Auditor to ensure our operations meet the highest standards of compliance, efficiency, and risk management as we scale rapidly across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an internal audit plan aligned with company objectives and risks.
• Conduct audits of financial, operational and compliance processes to identify control weaknesses.
• Investigate suspected fraud or misconduct and prepare investigative reports.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations and action plans for management.
• Stay updated on WAEMU regulations and support regulatory audits.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and promote a culture of internal control.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in risk management, internal audit or related roles within a bank or financial institution.
• Secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Business & Economics or a comparable field.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Proven experience with international or cross‑border companies.
• Strong analytical and investigative abilities, able to work under pressure.
