International Affiliate – Clinical Therapist (Senegal)

About the role

LyraLyra Clinical Associates is seeking an International Affiliate to provide short‑term, goal‑oriented counseling to corporate employees and their dependents in Senegal. You will work on a flexible contractual basis, managing your own caseload and setting your own hours while leveraging Lyra’s digital platform and administrative support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 1‑to‑8 session counseling for stress, burnout, grief, relationship issues, mild‑to‑moderate anxiety and depression.
• Apply evidence‑based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution‑Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) within an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) context.
• Adapt therapeutic approaches to Senegal’s cultural, linguistic and workplace dynamics.
• Use Lyra’s secure digital platform for scheduling, case notes and compliance with global data‑privacy standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology or Clinical Social Work.
• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification clinical experience.
• Registered with the local governing body as a psychologist, counsellor or clinical social worker.
• Proven experience in short‑term therapy or EAP settings; ability to conduct brief, structured interventions.
• Secure, confidential space with high‑speed internet for telehealth video sessions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CBT, SFBT or ACT.
• Competence using a digital health platform for case management and documentation.
